Paul Broadnax - Live from Studio OneBoston lost a great jazz legend this summer with the passing of Paul Broadnax. Born in Cambridge, the Roxbury native succumbed to complications from lung cancer on August 1st. At 92, Paul was still performing gigs in July. We will miss his smooth baritone voice, gentle manner and engaging personality.

Chick Corea: Pioneer and InnovatorArmando Anthony “Chick” Corea, was born in Chelsea Massachusetts on June 12, 1941. At age 77, the eternally youthful, always evolving, captivating pianist, composer and arranger shows no sign of slowing down. The ebullient Chick is one musician whose performances are outstanding. He is an expert at connecting to the audience and stated; “my mission is to bring the joy of creating everywhere I can. When I can bring some pleasure I become happy myself.”
