Boston City Councilor Andrea Campbell announced Thursday that she will run for mayor of Boston in 2021. Incumbent Mayor Marty Walsh has not yet announced whether he plans to run for re-election, but fellow City Councilor Michelle Wu announced her campaign last week. Andrea Campbell joined Jim Braude to discuss her campaign platform, which emphasizes persistent inequality in the city and her own life story of growing up in poverty.
