An audit of the Braintree Police Department's evidence room has revealed that large amounts of drugs, weapons, and cash went missing over a number of years. The audit was performed by former Massachusetts State Police major Bruce Gordon. Gordon spoke with WGBH All Things Considered host Barbara Howard about the issues he uncovered in Braintree, and the standards that should be observed in police department evidence rooms across the state.
