Which diet is the right diet? No diet, apparently. It's the second New York Times health story in as many weeks which has everyone talking. First came the claim that a minute of hard exercise a day could have the same benefits as a more moderate 45 minute workout. Now, a much more dire declaration: that a person's body will fight to gain back any weight it loses. The source for these findings?  The popular NBC reality show "The Biggest Loser."

The study followed contestants after they lost hundreds of pounds during show. And the researchers found that most of those lost pounds came rushing back. So what does it all mean for those of us looking to drop a few pants sizes or shed that 10 to 20 pounds of lingering holiday weight?
