Taped by the WGBH Forum Network, Jeffrey T. Schnapp and Matthew Battles came by the Harvard Book Store to discuss their book The Library Beyond the Book.

Schnapp and Battles argue that despite an increasingly digital world, libraries as physical places remain vital. By reframing the discussion away from the debate about virtual versus physical books, the co-authors focus on what libraries were before books and what they will become.
