The Shawshank Redemption got a fair amount of attention from film buffs, movie critics, and pop culture generalists when it turned 20 last year. Those tributes, however, pale in comparison to the attention that the movie is getting this summer with everyone--from Governor Cuomo to Stephen King -- describing the prison break from the Clinton Correctional facility as 'Shawshank Style.'

The mounting references to the movie has reached such a critical mass that even the film's star, Tim Robbins, had to weigh in.
