On Wednesday, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie found himself the subject of national attention, and not in a positive way. It came out that the closing of lanes on the George Washington Bridge  — which spans the Hudson River and connects New Jersey to New York —  may have been initiated by Christie staff as political retribution ahead of last Fall’s governor election.

Emails linking the Christie administration to the lane closures prompted Gov. Christie to hold a press conference in Trenton, NJ, on Thursday. Christie said he was “humiliated” to learn of his staff’s ties to the closings.

What do you think — is Gov. Christie still looking presidential? Are you troubled by the email revelations? Should Christie have fired Deputy Chief of Staff Bridget Kelly? Leave a comment below, or on our Facebook page.
