On a rain-soaked Sunday evening, Seattle-based SYML (Brian Fennell) performs live in the Fraser Performance Studio at WGBH in Boston. We got a chance to sit down with him before the show to talk about his search for identity and how that search has inspired his music. He also shares the story behind his stage moniker and some of the funnier made-up acronyms for SYML.
