American Masters looks at one of the most influential American artists of the 20th century, Jean-Michel Basquiat. He was a rock star of the early ’80s New York art scene. It took less than a decade for the accountant’s son from Brooklyn to rise to dizzying heights when his work ultimately commanded millions.
