"Make Way for Ducklings" is now a musical. Michael J. Bobbitt, co-creator of "Make Way for Ducklings, the Musical" joins Jared Bowen to discuss the inspiration behind this production and the process of adapting Robert McCloskey's classic book to the stage. The production runs at the Wheelock Family Theatre until March 12. Bowen is also joined by Nancy Schön, the sculptor who has memorialized "Make Way for Ducklings" by way of her sculptures in Boston's Public Garden. She talks about the power of public art and the timelessness of McCloskey's "Make Way for Ducklings," which she says is a story ultimately about love.

Jared Bowen then marks the first anniversary of Russia invading Ukraine with Igor Golyak. Golyak, a native of Ukraine who came to the United States when he was 10 years-old, now runs The Arlekin Players Theatre in Needham, MA. They talk about Golyak's humanitarian efforts with fellow artists to help refugees of the war in Ukraine, what the role of art is during wartime, and how Golyak is considered a pioneer in virtual theatre, which was prompted by the pandemic.

Finally, we profile artist Dexter Davis who changed his approach to his art after he survived a drive-by shooting.
