The centerpiece of the inaugural installation is The Lunder Collection: A Gift of Art to Colby College, the first exhibition dedicated entirely to the Lunder Collection. It features more than 260 works by American masters including John Singer Sargent, Mary Cassatt, George Inness, William Merritt Chase, Winslow Homer, Augustus Saint-Gaudens, Edward Hopper, Alexander Calder, and Georgia O’Keeffe, as well as important contemporary American works by Alex Katz, Louise Nevelson, Romare Bearden, Donald Judd, John Chamberlain, George Rickey, and Jenny Holzer, among others.A 26,000-square-foot pavilion designed by Frederick Fisher and Partners Architects creates a light-filled gateway to the existing museum, and serves as a beacon for Maine residents and visitors.

The name Fabergé is synonymous with refined craftsmanship, jeweled luxury and the Russian imperial family. This exhibition explores ideas of luxury, innovation, entrepreneurship and imperial patronage while providing insight into Peter Carl Fabergé's life, business and legacy. View over 230 singular treasures created by the House of Fabergé in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including enameled clocks, gold cigarette cases, hardstone carvings, ruby encrusted brooches and four signature imperial eggs made for Nicholas II and the Romanov family.

The 10th annual Boston Arts Festival launches Boston’s arts season. , the weekend-long event showcases more than forty juried visual artists exhibiting and selling one-of a-kind paintings, sculpture, ceramics, pottery, jewelry, fine glasswork, woodwork, mixed media, and photography. The Festival also features a performing arts and interactive arts program.
