Reaching Out To Boston's High Risk Youth
Just one percent of the 16-24 year-old population in Boston is responsible for 50 percent of the high impact crime in the city. The StreetSafe Boston program, brainchild of The Boston Foundation’s Robert Lewis, Jr., sends street workers into Boston’s most crime-ridden neighborhoods to work with high risk youth.
Guests:
* Robert Lewis, Jr., Vice President for Programs at The Boston Foundation and chief architect of the StreetSafe Boston program
* Leroy Peoples, Street worker for StreetSafe Boston.
