REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! Assemble a team and participate in our state's award-winning academic competition! Each year, GBH's High School Quiz Show showcases the knowledge, talents, and skills of students from across the Commonwealth in this highly anticipated event.
Establishing a High School Quiz Show team will be a different process at every high school due to variance in size, student body composition, and administrative support. The following steps are some of the most important guidelines to creating a competitive program.
- Your main role as a coach will be to support your team in any way they need, just as an athletic coach would. You will be morale booster and your team's biggest cheerleader!
- Coaches also help students maximize their potential and work on strategies to help them improve their overall performance.
- We encourage coaches to find a way to accommodate everybody who is interested. Find students who have a knack for specific subjects (i.e., Science, History etc.)
- It is strongly recommended that teams and coaches watch episodes of High School Quiz Show at highschoolquizshow.org and on our YouTube channel to become familiar with the virtual format, pacing, and the types of questions common to academic quiz competitions.
