CRB Classical 99.5

Supporting the Joy and Beauty of Classical Music

CRB Classical Radio Boston is a non-commercial, independent, listener-supported public radio station dedicated to excellence in classical music broadcasting and to finding ways to expand the audience for classical music. CRB believes that classical music can be part of everyone’s life. In this spirit, CRB provides 24/7 programming that is accessible on the air and online—playing more music per week than any other radio station in the country.

Boston’s classical community has long relied on CRB for a rich range of programming, including more than 45 broadcasts per year by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and another three dozen broadcasts of concerts by other local arts organizations. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, CRB expanded its offerings to include the production of more than 50 live-streamed concerts, which allowed artists to remain connected to their audiences at a time when the joy of music was sorely needed. A gift in support of CRB will ensure this important work continues and will allow the station to reach an even broader audience on all platforms, meeting audiences where they are and helping to bring classical music to all generations.

This world yearns for the transcendence and beauty that classical music brings, and we at CRB are driven by our mission to make classical music accessible to all. Philanthropic support bolsters our ability to offer audiences a transportive experience by bringing them the gift of great music—whenever and wherever they choose to listen and/or watch.
