Bucking decades of political ritual, Bloomberg skipped formally participating in the first four contests of the Democratic primary and staked his ground on bringing in a big delegate haul on Super Tuesday, the day fourteen states vote.

Some states abuse their right to clean up the voter rolls, effectively purging people from the lists. Voter rights advocates say same day registration would protect voter access.
