Update, Feb. 28, 2015: Leonard Nimoy has died at age 83, of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Actor Leonard Nimoy, who grew up in Boston's West End is in town to host a spaced-themed night at the Boston Pops. He also made a PBS film with his son Adam, "Leonard Nimoy's Boston," in which he recalls the Boston of his youth. 

Nimoy dropped by Boston Public Radio to talk about the film and his memories of growing up in, and leaving the city.
