In a recent op-ed for the Boston Globe, former Republican Senator from Massachusetts Scott Brown argues that the United States needs a “full, fair and bipartisan commission into the events of January 6.” The former lawmaker — who endorsed President Trump in 2016 — joined Jim Braude to discuss his support for an independent commission, which he called a “no-brainer.”

“It’s not over until it’s over, and I am hopeful,” he said about efforts by some GOP senators to create a bipartisan commission despite a lack of party support.
