In honor of Black History Month, GBH's American Experience re-airs the documentary “Goin’ Back To T-Town,” which tells the story of 1921 Tulsa race massacre, when violent white mobs ransacked and burned 35 square blocks of an area known as Black Wall Street, killing as many as 300 Black residents and leaving thousands homeless. Carmen Fields, who wrote the documentary more than 30 years ago, spoke about her personal connection to the story.
