Self-described militia member Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, was arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with first-degree murder for the fatal shootings of two protesters in Kenosha, Wisc., Tuesday night. Protests had grown in the area in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake, whom officers in Kenosha, Wisc., were recorded shooting in the back Sunday night. The initial incident, which Blake's father says has left him paralyzed, is now being investigated by the Department of Justice. In response to it all, professional athletes from across multiple leagues have announced they would not play Thursday night, led by the WNBA and NBA. In for Jim Braude, Adam Reilly was joined by Gary Washburn, national NBA writer for The Boston Globe.
