Ten years after Easton native Danroy ‘DJ’ Henry was shot and killed by a white police officer in New York who was never charged, calls to reopen the case have gained renewed energy in the wake of the George Floyd protest. A group of celebrities, including Rihanna, Jay-Z, and Kerry Washington, has sent a letter to the Department of Justice requesting federal investigators to take another look at the case.
