Calls from Democrats to impeach President Donald Trump are growing louder. A new Quinnipiac pollfound that 65 percent of Democrats want their party to begin the impeachment process if they win back the House in November. Of course that's a big if — and the electorate as a whole is still not on board, with 55 percent against the move. So, while talk of impeachment may fire up the Democratic base, could it backfire against the party in the midterm elections?
