Seeding New Clams and New Hope in Boston Harbor

THOMPSON ISLAND, Mass. — Eating seafood from Boston Harbor is a thought that may make your stomach turn, but a large team of local researchers, volunteers and students wants to change that. They’ve begun to cultivate large beds of soft-shell clams within city limits — the first effort of its kind in history.  This is what it sounds like.
