On Thursday night, we heard how synagogues across the state have been managing these strange times from Rabbi Marc Baker, president and CEO of Combined Jewish Philanthropies. He talked about the organization's efforts during the pandemic to help congregations adapt to socially distanced worship and other challenges.

Then, we checked back in with GBH's Executive Arts Editor Jared Bowen about how cultural institutions and the performing arts around here are doing. There was some sad news, but also uplifting and happy news.
