A local judge has been taking a lot of heat after a recent, controversial decision. After Salem Superior Court Judge Timothy Feeley sentenced an admitted heroin dealer, who is not a U.S. citizen, to two years of probation to save him from deportation, a group of lawmakers filed a resolution to start the process of removing Feeley from the bench.
Jim Braude was joined by state Rep. Shaunna O’Connell, a Taunton Republican who co-sponsored that resolution, and Robert Cordy, a retired Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Justice, who is now a partner at McDermott Will & Emery.
