At an event at New Mission High School in Hyde Park on Friday in honor of Jackie Robinson's birthday, Red Sox PA announcer and Poet Laureate Dick Flavin performed—from memory—a poem he wrote about Robinson's career as the first African American to integrate Major League Baseball.
