The GroundTruth Project Founder Charles Sennott (@CMSennott) talks Afghanistan.
The military conducted airstrikes on areas near the city of Kunduz overnight, a day after Taliban forces captured the area from the Afghan government.
"This is a movement by the Taliban that we have to pay attention to," said Sennott. "It's less about the strength of the Taliban and more about the weakness of the government."
Now, some suggest we should rethink our withdrawal plans scheduled for the end of 2016.
Charlie and his team at the GroundTruth Project have a new podcast out called “Foreverstan," which focuses on the U.S.’s history in Afghanistan and what its future might hold.
The second episode comes out Wednesday. And you can find it by searching “GroundTruth” in the iTunes store.
