Massachusetts Democrats and Republicans are rolling out the big names this week to campaign for their candidates for Governor.

On Thursday, former president Bill Clinton will headline a campaign rally for Democratic nominee Martha Coakley at Clark University in Worcester. He also stumped for Coakley in her ill-fated Senate run against Scott Brown in 2010.

Also Thursday, Mitt Romney - the former Massachusetts governor and presidential candidate - will co-host a private fundraiser for Republican Charlie Baker at the Lenox Hotel in Boston.  Romney will be in New Hampshire a day earlier to campaign with Scott Brown, now a senate candidate in the Granite State.

Clinton’s visit follows First Lady Michelle Obama’s appearance at a get-out-the-vote rally for Coakley earlier this month. And the other Clinton, former Secretary of State and likely Democratic nominee for president Hillary Clinton, is set to campaign for Coakley sometime before the election.
