A National Moment of Silence took place Thursday, remembering Michael Brown of Ferguson, Mo., and others who recently died at the hands of police officers.
At Boston Common, nearly 500 gathered in solidarity remembering victims both locally and nationally. The vigil brought a diverse population together showing support for ending police violence. Through the night, citizens chanted together, applauded each other for their stories, and cheered in the name of social change.
