Ever since she won her second Grammy earlier this year, Callie's been dying to get Terri Lynne Carrington on Under the Radar

Carrington, who grew up in Medford and is now a professor at Berklee, is a stand out in the music world. The jazz drummer who got her start at age 10, performing with jazz greats Dizzy Gillespie and Clark Terry. At 11 she got a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music, and at age 23 she won her first Grammy nomination.

Her first Grammy win was for her CD, “The Mosiac Project,” and she became the first woman to win a Grammy in the category of Best Jazz Instrumentalist when she took home another gold statue in January for her latest album: Money Jungle: Provocative in Blue
