Travel restrictions along the Mass Pike will take place through downtown Boston this weekend as State Department of Transportation Officials test changes for a Prudential Tunnel Project.
One lane will be open to traffic in each direction of Interstate 90 for about two miles from 9 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday for a traffic pattern test. In addition, some entrance and exit ramps in the Back Bay will be closed.
The changes will be put into effect the last two weekends of March and the first two weekends of April while construction is underway.
Travelers can visit prutunnelproject.info for a specific construction schedule.
