Pete Seeger, the folk singer and activist who died Monday night at age 94, had a strong connection to Cambridge, where he attended, and dropped out of, Harvard University, according to music critic Scott Alarik.
"He had a real soft for Boston and Cambridge," he said. "He really loved this town and the people in it."
