Whitey Bulger is finished. Today a federal judge sentenced Bulger to two life terms in prison plus an additional five years, meaning the convicted mobster will almost certainly die behind bars.
WGBH News reporter Adam Reilly was in court and said that in addition to losing his freedom, Bulger’s pride took a beating today, too.
