Commuters heading back to work in Massachusetts for the first time since the blizzard are being urged to use caution and leave extra time.
State transportation officials are also reminding motorists to clear all snow and ice from their cars before heading out on the road Monday and avoid cell phone conversations and other distractions. Rush hour travel in the breakdown lanes will be prohibited on Interstate 95 and Route 3.
The MBTA expects to be back to normal service on Monday, but officials say some delays should be expected.
Schools in Boston and many other communities will remain closed, which could ease some congestion.
Meanwhile, utility crews plan to continue around-the-clock efforts to restore power, with the bulk of the remaining outages on the South Shore and Cape Cod.
