Thursday's storm has knocked out power to about 2,000 customers have lost power as of 11 a.m, according to Nstar and National Grid.
NStar's online outage maps show 1,212 customers losing power, while National Grid's show 778.
Coastal flood advisories are in effect from Long Island to southern Maine, according to the National Weather Service, and high wind warnings are in effect for coastal Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
