As the start of school gets closer, the battles over the return to classrooms in many Massachusetts communities are reaching a boiling point, with teachers in Andover and Newton passing votes of no confidence in their local superintendents and other educators across the state expressing displeasure with guidelines issued earlier this month that call for all teachers to be in the classroom, even if teaching remotely.
