The latest episode of Open Studio with Jared Bowen features an interview with Boston favorite, Mark Wahlberg, to discuss his new film. It also takes viewers into the art and life of Roxbury native Napoleon Jones-Henderson and takes one last look at an exhibit closing soon. Here's what to expect:

First, an interview with the Boston native about his new film "Father Stu." Based on a true story, "Father Stu" tells the story of Stuart Long, an amateur boxer turned Catholic priest. Wahlberg produced the feature film while also portraying the title character. "Father Stu" is in theaters April 15th.

Next, Jared brings viewers into the art home of Napoleon Jones-Henderson, a longstanding member of AfriCOBRA (African Commune of Bad Relevant Artists), who has created art to celebrate and highlight the lived experiences of Black and African communities for over 50 years. His exhibit, Napoleon Jones-Henderson: I Am As I Am–A Man, is now on view at the ICA Boston through July 24th.

Finally, Jared takes one last look at Art for the Future: Artists Call and Central American Solidarity which showcases the art and activism of the 1980s. It’s on display at the school's Aidekman Art Center in Medford and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts in Boston. The exhibit looks at the Artists Call movement, which sought an end to U.S. intervention in Central America. The exhibit ends April 24th.
