We speak with three Boston-area authors who make mystery their métier. Each of them has created captivating characters, snappy dialogue, and gripping plots. These writers often find inspiration for their crime fictional fables from the real-life stories found in current news headlines. Their books have drawn fans well beyond New England with eager readers grabbing their latest as soon as they hit the shelves.
