Trial Attorney Peter Bellotti, a former senior district Attorney in Middlesex County, says the nationwide protests in major cities following the decision by a grand jury in New York not to indict a white police officer in the "choke hold" death of an unarmed black man, were sparked after the decision was released and after a video of the incident went viral.

Bellotti says, " the video alone  makes it look like like at a minimum, excessive force was used," and it's painful to hear Eric Garner say, "I can't breath" over and over again, for a total of eleven times.

He says the grand jury was  most likely presented with New York Police Department procedures, and testimony is secret, as dictated by law to protect the identities of those testifying.
