This twist on the classic Singapore Sling is an easy but impressive cocktail you can whip up in minutes.


  • 1 1/2 ounces rye whiskey
  • 3/4 ounce orange juice
  • 1/3 ounce cassis liqueur
  • 1/3 ounce simple syrup
  • 3 dashes angostura bitters
  • Prosecco
  • 2-inch strip orange zest


In a cocktail shaker, combine the rye, orange juice, cassis, simple syrup and bitters. Add one cup of ice, then shake for 15 to 20 seconds, or until the sides of the shaker are quite cold. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Top with a splash of prosecco and orange zest.
