Some say the Netflix TV series House of Cards is the future of television. The entire season was released all at once last week and it’s now available to watch on-demand. It completely bypasses the traditional network and studio system, and is making some question whether this is the future of television.
Boston-based TV blogger Ryan McGee joined Boston Public Radio to talk about House Of Cards, which he's been reviewing for the A.V. Club. He also looked at violence in television- a hot topic since the Sandy Hook shooting- and the state of female led comedies in post-"30 Rock".
