Patrons contributing $10,000 or more annually are also invited to join us for two exclusive events each year. In February we gathered for dinner with Admiral James Stavridis ahead of his Boston Speakers Series lecture. In June, Benefactors and Innovators are invited to a reception with GBH President and CEO Susan Goldberg and her senior leadership team. Stories from the Stage Celebrates Motherhood

At Stories from the Stage, ordinary people share extraordinary stories that you will not soon forget. Honor the mother figure in your life with this evening of stories celebrating motherhood in all of its forms. This storytelling event is a heartfelt tribute to moms, mentors, and caregivers. Whether you are a mother yourself or someone who has been touched by one, these powerful stories will honor the strength, sacrifice, and joy of nurturing loved ones. Through moments of resilience, laughter, and deep connection, our storytellers will remind us why motherhood—however it unfolds—is one of life’s most profound journeys.

GBH Music JazzNOW: Gabrielle Goodman in tribute to Ella Fitzgerald

GBH Music and JazzBoston close the 2025 JazzNOW series with a tribute to jazz icon Ella Fitzgerald, featuring acclaimed Boston-based vocalist Gabrielle Goodman. Ella Fitzgerald redefined jazz over her 60-year career, earning 13 Grammys and breaking barriers for women and Black artists. Gabrielle Goodman and her band honor Fitzgerald’s legacy with fresh interpretations of the works that made her "The First Lady of Song." A professor at Berklee College of Music, Goodman is a versatile artist whose career spans jazz, R&B, classical, and gospel. Goodman has released six acclaimed albums and was paired with Ella Fitzgerald recordings on a compilation album from Verve.
