TWO-PART NOVA SPECIAL “OPERATION SPACE STATION” SHOWCASES 25 YEARS OF SCIENCE AND SURVIVAL ON THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION

GBH Series Honored with Three 2025 News & Documentary Emmy Awards
GBH productions were honored with three Emmys at the 46th annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards. FRONTLINE received a News Emmy for Maui’s Deadly Firestorm and a Documentary Emmy for Two American Families: 1991-2024. NOVA received a Documentary Emmy for Hunt for the Oldest DNA. Presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), the News & Documentary Emmy Awards seek to honor outstanding achievements in news and documentary programming. The winners were announced during a two-night ceremony in New York City on June 25 and 26. -
NEW NOVA SERIES “HUMAN,” A BBC STUDIOS SCIENCE UNIT PRODUCTION WITH NOVA AND GBH FOR PBS AND THE BBC, INVESTIGATES THE ORIGIN OF OUR SPECIES
The award-winning PBS science series, NOVA, a production of GBH, today announced HUMAN, a five-part series documenting the long and complex story of the human species, will premiere Wednesdays, September 17-October 15 at 9pm ET/8c on PBS (check local listings) and will also be available for streaming at pbs.org/nova, NOVA on YouTube, and the PBS App.
