  • BOSTON, May 17, 2022 - GBH Kids and The Magic House today announced the opening of “Molly of Denali: An Alaskan Adventure,” an interactive traveling exhibit and life-size replica of the fictional village of Qyah, from the award-winning PBS KIDS animated series MOLLY OF DENALI®. Debuting in St. Louis to coincide with the opening of the Association of Children’s Museum’s annual conference, it’s an opportunity for children’s museums across the United States to bring the exhibit to their local community, offering children the chance to experience life in an Alaska Native village right in their own backyards.
  • April 28, 2022 - BOSTON - The PBS investigative documentary series FRONTLINE announced today that it has hired filmmaker Nina Chaudry and longtime journalist Erin Texeira to join the series’ senior editorial team.
  • Boston public media producer GBH has been honored with 13 New England Emmy® Award nominations in the lead up to the 45th Annual Boston/New England Emmy® Awards. The nominations are given by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Boston/New England Chapter, which is dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television, the fostering of creative leadership in the television industry, and the encouragement of excellence in artistic, educational, cultural and technical progress.
  • Boston public media producer GBH has been recognized with five George Foster Peabody Award nominations for outstanding productions released in 2021. The nominations recognize MASTERPIECE’s The Long Song, an adaptation of Andrea Levy’s novel about the end of slavery in Jamaica; as well as the FRONTLINE films A Thousand Cuts, an inside look at the threat to a free press in the Philippines; American Insurrection, an investigation of the rise of extremisim in Amerca through the lens of the assault on the U.S Capitol; Escaping Eritrea, an undercover investigation into one of the world’s most repressive regimes; and The Healthcare Divide, an examination of growing inequities in American healthcare exposed by COVID-19.
  • GBH Kids and PBS KIDS today announced the launch of Search It Up: The Game, now available through Ruff Ruffman on pbskids.org. Based on the award-winning digital miniseries Search It Up, the game is designed to help kids ages 4-7 learn to safely navigate technology and the internet.
