BOSTON (December 10, 2018) – WGBH has revealed the official matchup bracket for High School Quiz Show™’s 10th anniversary season tournament, hosted by Billy Costa. The premiere episode, scheduled to air on February 2, 2019, will feature High School Quiz Show veteran Lexington High School taking on Boston Latin School, participating this year for the first time.

The sixteen schools competing on High School Quiz Show earned the highest scores on an oral quiz at WGBH’s “Super Sunday” qualifying event at WGBH studios in Brighton, MA on November 4. The season 10 field includes defending champion Andover High School, veteran competitors Hingham High School and, for the second consecutive year, Worcester’s South High Community School. The bracket was announced today by Costa on High School Quiz Show’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

“The unveiling of the bracket is always exciting, and this year holds special significance as we celebrate a decade of honoring the academic achievements of Massachusetts high school students,” said High School Quiz Show Executive Producer Hillary Wells. “We invite fans of all ages to come to WGBH for the studio tapings and encourage everyone to tune in on-air and online to support this year’s teams.”
