Community Canvas is an initiative presented by The Culture Show where GBH features artwork from community members on our Digital Mural.
Today’s mural features artwork by Desteny Diaz. She dedicates her piece to September’s National Suicide Prevention Month.
“This piece serves as a reminder to everyone that you are loved, worthy, and purposed,” Diaz says. “Whether you are familiar with these colors or not, the illustration shows resilience, strength, and power through every challenge. A butterfly continues to fly through every obstacle it comes across.”
