Community Canvas is an initiative presented by The Culture Show where GBH features artwork from community members on our Digital Mural.
Today’s mural features an abstract landscape painting by Lisa Hayden that celebrates the marshy areas of coastal Massachusetts. Boardwalks and bridges crossing waters and luscious green foliage growing all over make this environment a joyful place to explore.
Hayden is a contemporary artist painting with a focus on natural abstracts, including abstract landscapes, abstract florals, and seascapes. She studied painting at the University of Miami, where the vibrant colors of South Florida have combined with a life in New England to form a lasting influence on her art for 30 years.
