Community Canvas is an initiative presented by The Culture Show where GBH features artwork from community members on our Digital Mural.
Today’s mural features artwork by oil painter and collage artist Laurie Simko. Her focus and inspiration comes from the natural world.
“I explore the richness of life in the streams, marshes, woods, and gardens around me,” she says. “I look for the interconnections, shared origins, and interdependence within the plant and animal world.”
