Community Canvas is an initiative presented by The Culture Show where GBH features artwork from community members on our Digital Mural.

Today’s mural, Boston Public Garden Serenade by SuWani, is an homage to the city of Boston. This piece conveys the delicate balance between nature and man-made design, all of which the Public Garden encapsulates. Through a careful selection of colors and brushstrokes, the painting evokes the emotions SuWani experiences when wandering through the space – a connection to nature and an appreciation for the rich history of this green oasis.

“Through this artwork, I invite viewers to pause, reflect, and immerse themselves in the peaceful refuge of the Public Garden in the heart of the city,” SuWani says.
