Today’s mural, The Fish Pier by Michele Boll, captures the feeling of a place and a moment in time. Boll often removes or adds objects within a composition to balance and complete her story.
“Somehow, in the spaces between light and shadow, I see reflections of the people who inhabit or built the structures: a hint of the human condition,” Boll says. “The presence of the individual is always there, even when absent.”
Boll creates in her studio at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, MA, and works primarily with acrylic on canvas.
