Today’s mural by Susie Murie is based in photography, making prints using cyanotype chemistry.
“In observing the natural world, I consider the beauty and transitory nature of being alive,” Murie says. “While photographing, I look for light radiating from and coming through plants and the environment.”
Murie is a Boston-based artist. Her work is featured in collections at Fidelity Investments Corporate Art Collections, The City of Somerville, Raffles Hotel Boston, Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas, Ritz Carlton, San Francisco, and private collections in the U.S. and Europe.
